My academic work

I teach subjects such as management information systems, e-business, e-marketing, business change management and dealing with complex businesses.

I teach senior managers in workshops and on executive development courses. I also teach Executive MBAs and students at MSc and undergraduate level.

I recently taught some high potential managers at Alliance Boots in a master class on ‘Using Customer Knowledge to Innovate’ – this was the second time I ran this. I also regularly teach managers from Rolls-Royce and other executives about the retail side of E-business.

I have taught two Chinese delegations (a group of Hong Kong business people and Ningbo’s local council) and I have taught part-time MBAs in Singapore on four visits. I also ran a workshop for Volvo in Sweden.

I have also been a visiting lecturer at the Department of Computer Science at the University of Manchester and a Tutor and Researcher at Manchester Business School.

I was an External Examiner for the MSc in International Business and Management at the Faculty of Business & Law at Liverpool John Moores University.
