About

I teach, consult and research internationally on AI and data strategy, customer experience, service innovation and data-driven decision-making. I have developed a reputation as a leading expert on the link between business strategy and data strategy – how new business models and company decisions connect with data and new digital capabilities.

I am less concerned with the technical side; and instead I focus on how businesses can use new digital technologies for purpose, profit, customer service and product development. I help non-technical leaders to understand, plan and use the latest AI and digital capabilities.

Before my university career I worked in engineering and logistics, management consultancy and customer satisfaction.

I have an MBA and a PhD in modelling Network Orchestration, both from the world-renowned Manchester Business School, as well as Bachelors and Masters degrees in engineering.
